American Manufacturing Diversified Group.

In the Arena
with You.

AMDG Partners is an equity partner to manufacturing companies and the vendors who supply them. We think of ourselves as the anti-private equity: no flipping, no quarterly games, just standing in the arena alongside you. We bring the sales engine, infrastructure, certifications, and operating systems it takes to grow over the long haul.

Time Horizon

Decades

We invest like owners, not flippers. Outcomes measured in cycles, not quarters.

Equity Model

Earned

We only take equity after we've put the sweat in and the value shows up.

Stakeholders

All In

Owners, operators, employees, and customers, value flows to everyone on the platform.

Why we exist

American manufacturing deserves a real partner.

Most shop owners are great operators, but it's hard to find time to work on the business. Too often, owners spend their days firefighting in the daily grind, strategy, sales, compensation, and cultural alignment get pushed to next week.

That was my experience at Phoenix Heat Treating. My dad is an incredible heat treater, he understands materials better than anyone I know, but carving out time to work on the business was a constant challenge. I was able to step in with systems, processes, technology, and cultural alignment. The company has flourished as a result.

This problem isn't unique to us. Shops across the country want to grow, but finding time to work on the business is the bottleneck. That's where AMDG Partners, American Manufacturing Diversified Group, comes in. We leverage our network, software, and systems to be the partner that helps your business grow.

The landscape is crowded with private equity firms promising the same thing. Many are great partners, but their time horizon is short, implement fast, then sell. We take the long view because we believe in protecting legacies. Our family has been in heat treating for over 100 years; I'm a 5th generation heat treater. Businesses are built to be vehicles for their shareholders and their employees. American manufacturing deserves a real partner.

Approach

Three ways we partner with manufacturers.

01

Minority Partner

Have a great shop, but execution gaps are throttling growth?

Our minority model embeds AMDG's operating team, certifications, and management systems into your business. You keep majority ownership and day-to-day control, we plug the gaps so the vision actually ships.

02

Majority Partner

Ready to change your role without leaving the next chapter?

AMDG steps in as a majority partner. We remove personal liability from the legacy owner and bring the leadership bench to scale the business without losing what makes it special.

03

Full Acquisition

Built something real and ready to hand it off?

If you've built a durable team and a clean book of business, we're ready to talk. AMDG is positioned to fund a buyout that honors the legacy and protects the future of the people who built it with you.

Ideal Partner

Who we're built to partner with.

Not every shop is an AMDG shop. The partners we do our best work with share three things in common, they want to grow, they run toward regulated markets, and they're willing to change how the business operates to get there.

01

Wants to grow

Owners and operators who aren't content to coast, they want more customers, more capacity, and a bigger team five years from now.

02

Not scared of regulated industries

Defense, space, energy, semiconductor, the work that requires certifications, audits, and traceability. Where the barrier to entry is the moat.

03

Open to new systems

Willing to adopt new software, quality systems, and operating cadences. The shops that grow are the shops that evolve.

04

Values data over gut feel

Understands that decisions get better when the data is good. Trusts instinct, but doesn't run the business on it alone, measurement, dashboards, and evidence drive the calls.

05

Runway left in the tank

At least two or three years before retirement is on the table. Still hungry to be in the arena, still want to build something bigger before hanging it up.

06

Already profitable

You've built a healthy, profitable business. We're not here to rescue a turnaround, we're here to pour fuel on a fire that's already burning.

Machined parts

Partnering with you

Sweat first. Equity after.

Plenty of holding companies will buy your shop, swap the logo, and chase the next quarter. We don't. AMDG joins you in the trenches, embeds with the team, and earns its stake by adding value; certifications, software and systems. The goal; moving the metrics that actually matter, throughput, on-time, margin, headcount you'd hire again.

Process

A clear path from first call to first day.

Step 01

Learn

We walk through what an AMDG partnership looks like inside a manufacturing operation like yours, structure, terms, day one.

Step 02

Visit

Come see the floor, the systems, and the team. Then we come see yours. Real conversations on real shop floors.

Step 03

Finalize

Transparent deal terms, operating agreements, and a 100-day plan. We earn equity only after we put the sweat in.
